SISTERHOOD

The sisterhood found within the walls of 823 West Jefferson Street is unlike anywhere else. From the little moments around the house to our weekend long retreats, we provide ample opportunities for our sisters to find their place in our special bond. Our Vice President of Sisterhood Development, Caroline Ball, and her team take pride in their monthly sisterhood events, as they grow our sisterhood stronger with every one of them. Below is just a glimpse of what sisterhood means to us!

Spring 2024 Sisterhood Retreat

This Spring, our sisters traveled to Seaside, Florida. They had the day to themselves to explore the town, walk along the beach, shop in boutiques, eat yummy snacks from the farmer's market, listen to live music, and more. We partnered with Amavida, a coffee shop in town that kindly gave discounts to all of our sisters! We left with many great memories that we will cherish always.

Urban Air

For this event, Phi Mu rented our Urban Air for the night! Our sisters had so much fun at the trampoline park, riding the zip-line, in the ball pit, and playing arcade games! We showed off our silly side and got to take a nice break from midterm season!

You're My Lucky Charm

In March, Phi Mu had a bracelet making event! We got to mix and match from a selection of thousands of charms and a variety of bracelet types. We got to make matching ones with our sisters, and now have a piece of sisterhood to wear always!

Sisters & Safety

To wrap up February's events, we had a self defense class with an officer from the FSU police department! We learned a lot about how we can keep ourselves safe in a variety of environments, and our resources on campus available to us.

Friendsgiving on the Lawn

To wrap up the Fall semester, we had a Friendsgiving dinner on the front lawn of the house! Our sisterhood team went all out to create a meaningful experience for our sisters to share! We are so thankful to have the most wonderful kitchen staff that worked so hard to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for us to enjoy!

Hiking in Providence Canyon

The day following initiation of PC 23, our sisters embarked on a trip to Providence Canyon in Georgia! This day was full of big-little bonding, picnics, and memories that will last a lifetime!

Build a Buddy!

To wrap up the first month of classes, we had a build a buddy event at the house! We made birth certificates for our new fuzzy friends, decorated shirts for them to wear, and wrote our "why" on a quatrefoil to put inside so we'll always carry a piece of our sisterhood with us!

Movie on the Lawn

To start off the 2023 Fall semester, we watched "10 Things I Hate About You" on the front lawn! Sisters brought blankets and ate yummy snacks including popcorn from our popcorn machine and root beer floats!
